Yellow Submarine is an award winning Oxfordshire charity that believes people with learning disabilities and autism deserve to live their lives to the full. They run multiple projects all with the aim of supporting their members to build their confidence and independence. Their ultimate aim is for their members to be able to do more and to need less from organisations like themselves. They are unique in the world or charities and local authorities in that the same team work with their members from the age of 11, right through into adulthood. This allows them, often over many years, to gain both trust and a real insight as to how best to create a person-centered plan to support each individual.
We were pleased to be able to make a donation of £2,000 in 2019.
